I did not know. Only from past few years I am hearing about this fruit in Bangalore. Another new veg is broccoli..even this was not available before.

BTW, did you boil the milk and make yogurt in that pot or is it just for storing? The pot and the glass look very cute!

In reply to Jay. Avacados have been available in India for years but not in all cities and towns. It is commonly called butterfruit in the south of India. In fact, my family grows this in our estates.
