I dont understand why you are looking for “Khatti Meethi” daal when they are clearly saying that they showing recipe for JUST “Khatti” Daal.

Hi Afra,

This is one of the daals that can be easily cooked on the stove in a pot. We have not cooked daal in a pot in a very long time (we prefer pressure cookers 🙂 ), but it will probably take about 30 to 40 minutes. You may also have to keep adding additional water as needed while it cooks.
