I had butternut squash in the fridge so I used it instead of sweet potato. I also added some very thin slices of apple. I should have been more daring with the chili pepper. I cook for my mom and myself, and she notices hot peppers more than I do. Next time I’ll use more. Thanks so much for this unique, nutritious and yummy dessert!
