Hi Malavika,

We have not tried it with egg whites, but it should work. Basically, the eggs are the binding force in quiche and even egg whites do the trick. I would probably not eliminate all of the yolks the first time you try it.

Hi Hetal and Anuja,
Is it possible to substitute half or all the amount of whole eggs with egg whites? I usually substitute 2 egg whites for a whole egg in omelets and scrambled egg recipes to cut down on the cholesterol, but didn't know if I could do the same with quiche. Thanks!

Hi Rizna,
You can omit the cottage cheese and use any cheese you like. The cottage cheese is there to make it lighter. You can make half the amount shown for 2 people.
