In reply to Sridevi. Hi Sridevi, There is enough moisture from the asparagus and lemon juice to be able to cook it on high heat (even with Olive Oil). Olive Oil cannot be used for frying. Butter is not a good option for high heat because the dairy solids will burn. Ghee can be used though.

Hi,
This recipe is so simple and looks so yummy.I just have a comment here. Any time we cook food on high heat it is not advised to use olive oil as it goes rancid at high temperatures.Butter may be a better option here.

In reply to hetal. Thanks for replying so quickly, Hetal. I remember seeing something like this in BB&B a while ago(think it was the Invitations brand, please correct me if I'm wrong). I've gone back since and they don't carry it anymore. I've spent the last few hours just watching a bunch of your videos, feeling inspired to try a few recipes tomorrow.
