Hi Hetal and Anuja
This is with reference to your Tuesday tip to make perfect yogurt. thanks to this tip I have been successfully making yogurt at home. But since two weeks since temperatures have been falling I am having problems. It does set good but has this stringy consistency when you scoop out a spoon of it. Hoping you have a solution to this

Thanks again

Hi huda

It sounds like turmeric powder is added in the tampering. In andhra area we tamper yogurt with turmeric powder, mustars seeds, fenugreek(only 3,4),onions, curryleaves. And this is another version of yogurt chutney, i guess you happen to taste the same item. I just gone through this page so very very late information....

Bye the way i love your simple yet nice presentations heetal and anuja...all the best

Hi Shreya,

The big microwaves work the same way as small ones. You have to be careful not to put anything metal inside, including foil. We try not to heat or cook food that has oil in it in plastic containers as it tends to burn the plastic. Use glass if and when possible.

Hi Shadia,

This raita can be a salad dressing but also enjoyed with things like biryani or aloo paratha, etc. We're glad you are finding SMTC useful!
