To remove kitchen odors, I usually light a candle before the meal preparation and let it run for a few more minutes until after completion of the meal. It is known that lighting a candle (scented or unscented does not matter) helps remove odors. However a scented candle can inject a pleasing smell which is good if guests are about to arrive at your place.

In reply to Payal. Baking soda. Make a paste with water similar to toothpaste consistency and rub it over the stains. Let it sit for a few minutes and clean it off with a dry rag.
