hi Hetal/Anuja ,
Can the chocolate-butter mixture be melted in a microwave? a lot more easier ;isn’t?
Nita
Hi Nita,
Yes, you can use a microwave but you have to be careful and mix often. Microwave cooking is very uneven and some portions of the chocolate can actually burn.
can we use normal chocolate instead of baking choco?? If yes, then how much grams??
Hi Bhumi,
We have not tried it with regular chocolate but the texture may turn out different. Baking chocolate has less butter fat and sugar then regular chocolate.
hi hetal,
I tried with plain chocolate bars, it turned out great and delicious..excellent recipe. thanks for that.
Hi Hetal/Anuja,

I am planning to make ths cake for a dinner party. Can I make them in advance and serve later by reheating in the microwave or do they need to be baked just before serving?
Thanks,
Arpi
Can I substitute the chocolate bar with Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips? If so, how much?

Hi,
I would like to know if I could use cocoa powder instead of chocolate bars. If yes, then how much? Please let me know.
Hi Divya,
Chocolate bars have added fat and sugar, depending on if the powder is sweetened or not. You can substitute it, however, you would have to add oil and sugar plus tweak the rest of the recipe to accommodate the changes.
Thank you. I shall try making this sometime soon..

Hi,
My sister and I are making six of these chocolate lava cakes for our grandads birthday. We want to make sure it all goes well, so roughly how big do the ramekins have to be?
Thanks,
Shanaya
Hi Shanaya,
Our ramekins are 1/4 cup each.
hey i liked your recpie its great.i dont eat eggs ,so can we make molten cake without eggs. please let me know.
Unfortunately, we have not tried this cake without eggs or with other substitutes. Eggs are a big part of this recipe for their texture.
