      You can always substitute water for broth, but the end result will lack some flavor. You can possibly jazz it up with more spices.

    can i use sauce made from fresh tomatoes n homemade vegetable stock n baked beans tin in tis recipe??

    1. Hi Deepal,

      You can use pureed fresh tomatoes, but you may want to blanch and peel them for a smoother texture to the sauce. Baked beans tend to be a little sweet and have a lot of sauce. If you’re ok with the sweetness, you can try it out.
