The “guys” decided that they should teach us on how we should work on our Show Me The Curry videos! What better way to tell us than “show” us how it’s supposed to be done! Hetal and I sat back and watched the drama and the action unfold…and we both have to admit that they did a really good job ๐ Having said that, don’t worry, we are not changing our style!
Enjoy this video and learn a trick or two about grilling and summer parties ๐ What we loved the best, we got a great meal out of it ๐

I love this video as I do all of your videos. I have been venturing into Indian food for a few years now and your recipes are so easy to follow. I appreciate the more personal videos as well. It’s always nice to see people acting silly and funny in their work life.
On a side note, I am appalled at the rude comments some viewers left. It is sad to see how people can be so disrespectful.
Keep up the amazing work. xo
This particular show “BBQ with the Guys” is a real delight. The menu selection is unique and delicious. I’m a real fan of “Spice” and SHOW ME THE CURRY.
This show is a treat to watch while “The Guys” interact with each other while preparing this delicious BBQ and enjoying their drinks. With the BBQ season underway; I loved sharing this show with my social media contacts during the Summer season.
Hi Camille,
Glad you enjoyed watching our guys having a bit of fun! And thanks for sharing the video ๐

no offence but i thought hindus are not allowed Beef!
Ever heard of that other gigantic world religion, Islam? haha
I liked this video it was very enjoyable to see your guys doing an episode and I learned a few things. Good tip about the lemons. They aren’t as polished at it as Hetal and Anuja but they don’t do it regularly…that just made it more amusing. I had no problem at all with their English, they were perfectly understandable to me.
I love this site and all the episodes you publish on here. I have wanted to learn to cook Indian food for a while (and learn to be a better cook generally) and the videos make it very approachable. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Mary! Yes, we and the guys were just trying to have some fun. Glad you enjoyed it.
This video was absolutely a wonderful surprise. I loved it and the guys having drinks during the preparation of the steaks, etc. was real, fun in the spirit of a “Good Barbecue”. I will be sending this to a friend of mine who organizes the REAL MEN COOK events.
Thanks Camille! The guys did have a good time filming this video!
it was so much fun watching it… ๐
This was a hoot! And I disagree with the idea that this diminishes your professionalism and chances to advance. Aarti Sequeira did an online cooking show in which she had silly stunts and interactions with friends and her camera-toting husband regularly. Now she has a show on Food Network. I love the bits of silliness you tuck here and there. It makes you folks more fun to watch.
hey ladies,
the men did a great job..!! well done. they were funny and made the whole show lively … ๐
And hi5 to you guys aswell. Your doing a great job.
God bless you both.
I think this video was great. It gave a little peek into your personal lives, which is something you did not have to do.
The video was silly, yet informative. The men were relaxed and clearly having a good time.
I do not understand all the negativity.
Remember, these women DO NOT have to post videos. They DO NOT have to post recipes. But they do it anyway, because they want to help us.
Bottom line, like dear old Thumper said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothin’ at all. “
Hilarious video. I not only learned a new item to grill – portobello mushrooms, but laughed out loud so many times thru’out the videos. Our thanks to you all for such a good effort!
Hi ARJ,
We had a blast making it as well and then in the editing – we were cracking up ๐
Hi Hetal and Anuja,
I have tried many of your recipes and it has given me great results. Thanks a lot to you guys for taking the effort to help the newbies or even the cooking experts to learn more.
I dedicated half a day watching the tuesday tips and the comments related to it on your website.Have to admit lot many of those tips were totally unknown to me and I do apply those now in my daily life.
I watched the kids video making triffle pudding. It was very very cute.
Just curious to know ,if all of them are your kids.I mean each of you have 4 kids? God I dont know how to express my respect towards you for being a busy mom and yet carry on a show like this.
Great Job Hetal and Anuja.God bless you and your family with lot of happiness.
Hi Gayathri,
Thank you so much for the compliments and also for the support ๐
Regarding the kids video – it was cute and we really enjoyed making it. Both Hetal and I have 2 kids each, the rest our our friends kids ๐
What a cute video! Thanks to you guys and the men for taking the time to do it. Pinch those guys on the cheeks for me. We know who the real chefs are. ๐
Cute:)
simply lovely to see your husbands’ cooking. some bitchy women cannot stop their dirty mouths passing negative comments on people who are trying their best to do good. if they cannot understand their english then this women can learn from some goras by licking their feet dry.
Wow, Its great to see Guys cooking with great level of Humor sense. Very different and Entertaining. Will try the Mushroom BBQ. Good Job.
Hetal and Anuja,
It’s me again, Forgot to mention that I like watching your site and your recipes..and also wish you good luck in your future ventures.. But if you plan to go on any National/ Global channels you should be careful of what you post or portray. Little things say a lot about us…especially drinking habits..
Hi Hetal and Anuja,
The BBQ video was good.. nice thought to put the guys to work… the recipes looked wonderful, grilling mushroom looked like fun , which I think I definetely will try… The men had a good sense of humour too..
Your hubbies didn’t behave as professional as you 2 ladies do.. but thats okay.. they were just doing a fun shoot anyways ..,All in all, good video… but a few things were a bit disturbing.. the way they were always reaching for their glasses didn’t look classy at all. The video without the drinks would have been better I think.
i like the way they stop for a refresher,,,lol
To the people who said they can’t understand the speech in this video: Get out of your own neighborhood once in a while! You’re ridiculous! This video was so cute and fun!! The guys were darling, and so sweet of them to do this. My husband and I both giggled all the way through it.. thanks so much!
Funny video!! Guys r having a gr8 time
Great video! the Guys were being “guys”. Keep up the good work.
I hope a lot of Indian husbands will be inspired by Ram and Shrikant, take a cue from them and do a little bit of simple cooking once a while. Like they keep saying here ‘cooking is simple women just make it sound hard’
ha ha ha…
I hope the guys are not demotivated by some of the immature and negative comments earlier on. I do wish they’ll feature every now and then with some easy barbeque, cocktail recipes, tips etc. under the efficient wifely training ๐ Great job SMTC team!!
Cheers!
