Method:
1. Take a microwave safe mug or a bowl.
2. Fill it up to 3/4th of the way full.
3. Put it in the Microwave and turn it on high for 2-3 minutes.
4. Let it sit in the Microwave for another 5 minutes.
5. Allow the condensation from the water to loosen up the dirt, the grit and the grime.
6. Open after 5 minutes and clean with a paper towel or a washcloth.

How to clean a microwave without harsh chemicals, organic cleaners, green options for cleaning supplies, useful household kitchen tips, tricks and hacks.
Hi buddy,
I just read your blog. Cleaning tips you shared really awesome! Great work, thanks for sharing your awesome blog.
Hello, I only know a tiny, tiny basic bit about Indian cookery but recently went into an Indian supermarket here in the UK and bought lots of things, including a huge bag of DRIED ONIONS – but how are you supposed to use them? Any advice you could give would be most helpful – thank you.
Hi Helga,
Dried (or fried) onions are mainly used in making biryani. See here: https://34.233.61.50/rice-dishes/vegetable-biryani-indian-rice-recipe.html. You can also add them to yogurt to make a quick yogurt flavored raita.
good one
tks 4 sharing
Hi,
Another way to clean and remove the microwave odor faster is to boil a cup of water with a lemon ( cut lemon) in it. Boil it for 2 minutes and wipe the microwave with a paper towel 🙂
Few drops of lemon juice[as mentioned by niyati] is good. Add Soda bicarbonate to the water this will dislodge food sticky film.
hi
i want to try your recipes.
Hi
a precaution for all those using this tip. whenever u boil just water in microwave, DO NOT open the microwave and take it out immediately. Coz, even if water looks normal on surface, its agitated from inside when heated in microwave and can give u first degree burns. it is always suggested not to boil plain water in microwave!!
if u take it out after 5 mins, thats pretty safe!!
Add 3-5 drops of lemon juice to the water in the cup…It works as a cleansing agent…Rest of the procedure is the same…
I have been using this method for a long time..it helps to fight the tough yellow stains…
Cheers 🙂
sorry priya thanx to you too, it worked out to me, honey u helped me a lot.

Thanx for the quick reply Anuja….
Just clean it frequently with some soap water and wipe it dry . If you clean it often then it won’t be blackish 🙂
but how to clean outside part of the microwave?? mine is white so get blackish very fast, reply
hey rupa,
Everytime u cook, have a wet kitchen cloth next to u. Once u are done with the cooking, wipe the outside of the MW to remove splatters from ur kadai, cookers , oil residues etc…and pat dry with a kitchen towel. I do it all the time..though i have a black MW..
Trust me this methid really helps..very much indian..
Sorry hetal didi for answering this Q!!And thanks for this tip..Its a grt idea…
