What about cooking eggs which are taken immediately from the fridge. It bursts When the water starts boiling.
I solved this prob by adding some vinegar to the water. Is there any other suggestion.

    1. Hi Antz,

We sometimes put boiled eggs in our kids’ lunch boxes so it has time to come to room temp by the time they eat lunch. However, if you want to have it immediately, you have to use the soaking in hot water method. Maybe some of our other viewers can share their tips.

      1. Hi hetal/Anuja

I have come across the Boiled Egg yolk outer surface becoming dark in color if kept in the refrigerated for couple of days…Is there any ways i can prevent it

        1. Hi Nidhi,

The dark ring on the yolk comes from over boiling the eggs. If you want to prevent the dark green/gray color, you can follow these steps:
          1. Place eggs in a pot (single layer)
          2. Cover them entirely with water.
          3. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
          4. Turn off the stove, cover the pot and let the eggs sit for about 15 minutes.
          5. Run cold water over the eggs and peel them or store them in the fridge.
