I tried to make gulab jamuns following the video, it was my first. & they were hard. You were so right about the temperature of the oil. Well, now I’ve got an idea of the temperature & I’ll try them again but yes they tasted great. It is such a simple recipe. Thank you. Hopefully [it should be ‘carefully’ ;)], I’ll get them right next time.

I have a different recipe…will try yours…i’ll write mine here in case you wish to try it 🙂
1 cup milk pdr
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
MIX, and make balls…add milk if crumbly.
syrup: 1 cup sugar, 3 cups water, saffron, 2-3 cardamoms (whole). Boil, simmer.
The rest is the same. Fry balls, add to syrup, enjoy. 🙂
