Hummus is such a fantastic and easy recipe but we decided to take it a step further with a light and fresh twist. Try this delicious Spinach and Green Pea Hummus recipe for the summer. The fresh spinach leaves and green peas give the hummus a beautiful shade of green and lighten the normally dense dish.
Ingredients:
Spinach Leaves – 1 cup, packed
Frozen Green Peas – 1/2 cup, thawed and rinsed
Garbanzo Beans – 1 can, drained and rinsed (1.5 cups if using soaked and cooked beans)
Garlic – 2 large cloves
Salt – to taste
Black Pepper – to taste
Tahini – 1 Tbsp
Olive Oil – 2 Tbsp
Lemon Juice – to taste
Method:
1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and grind to to a smooth paste.
2. Drizzle with additional Olive Oil when serving.
3. Serve with pita chips, pita bread, raw veggies or on toast.

Awesome ! Thanks for sharing …. It’s packed with protein & all the vitamins ! The best part is its healthy & tasty . It’s always challenging to think of a healthy spread on toast or in pita sandwiches. This is really easy & healthy & ticks all the boxes. I added a green chilli for some extra kick & it was yummy.
