This recipe was delish! I added some oregano and yellow onions to saute with the other veggies and it tasted amazing! Thanks for your many great recipes! They’re much appreciated ๐
Great talent that you ladies have. I tried this recipe with Tomato & Basil tortillas this afternoon and came out GREAT. I had a Quesadilla maker sitting in my kitchen cupboard since I got it. Today I used & it was wonderful. Thanks to you ladies.
Hi,
I tried this recipe and came out really well. I found filling half the tortilla and folding it over much easier especially when trying out for first time.
Thanks a lot
Hi Fatima,
Thanks for the suggestion and feedback!
I tried your quesadilla recipe. Thanks for real simple and tasty. Can you please share momos recipe?
Can you folks post lot of Fresh CORN dishes, since this is the season and they are very much available in the market,we all love corn, need to know few dishes made thru fresh corn.
Thanks,
Preeti.
Hi Preeti,
You can try Corn Chivda with fresh corn. Here is the video: https://34.233.61.50/quickfixes/corn-chevda-makai-no-chevdo.html
Hello Hetal and Anuja I was wondering if I used the spinach tortilla then would I have to use the real spinach in the filling?
Thanks A lot,
Alena :):):)
Hi Alena,
Don’t think it will do any harm to add on more spinach, will make it healthier ๐
Enjoy!
Thank you, Anuja! I appreciate your quick reply ;). I think, I overstuff them. Next time, I will try to put less stuffing. The spatula which I used to flip them was no so broad as the one which you have used. I will also try to find that kind spatula in store. Mostly, that will also help. Thanks again! Love you both ๐
hi hetal & anuja, i loved the recipe and tried to make it but i find so hard to flip the quesadilla, to cook it from the other side..my contents come out of them & they become a mess..what should i do?
HI Pinky,
It takes a little practice and try not to over-stuff the tortilla.
Another option is to fill half and then fold over so it is easier to flip. It should look like a ‘D’
Hope that helps.
Wow that was wonderful,I learn how to cook Lots of recipe
Thanks for such a eazy, yummy delicious quick receipe…I tried this…it was fast…and we all loved it.No more going to Mexican resturant.
Thanks a lot!!!
Hi Hetal, Anuja
I tried this recipe today, came out excellent, but iused less cheese (just to bind the vegetables) and lots of veggies,.. it was excellent.. thanks so much..

Hi Gayatri,
Yum, veggies are always great ๐
I made them this morning for b’fast. They came out great. I used spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, red onions and celery along with Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese.
Hi Arpana,
Sounds delicious ๐
Hi Hetal And Anuja,
Can we use Red Onions instead of green spring onions?
Do I have to use Mushrooms?
And Also YOU GUYS ARE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!i WISH I COULD MEET YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Sony,
Thanks!! Yes, you can use regular onions instead of spring onions. They may take a little longer to cook. Even the mushrooms are optional – skip them if you like.
how much
Green (Spring) Onions
Tomatoes
Bell Pepper
Green Chilies
Spinach
Salt
Garlic Powder
Red Chili Flakes
would i need
Hi Mitsu,
For this recipe, all of the ingredients are to taste. If you have more or less of anything, it will not affect the outcome so much. Keep in mind that the mixture will reduce in quantity after cooking so you may need to start off with a lot more veggies than you think.
Anuja/Hetal
i love all ur recipies..
can i add mozzarela cheese and black beans in this one?
Hi Supriya,
Absolutely! Mozzarella cheese is a little more stringy but it will taste great!
thanx
Hi Hetal and Anuja,
I am 11 years old and I love watching and cooking with you guys. I loved the vegetable quesadilla a lot. I visit your wonderful website often and see what I can cook for my family on special occasions. You always have the right thing for me to cook. I would like to request if you would put the amount to put in and the serving size.
Hi Mitsu,
We love to hear about youngsters cooking for their families. You remind me of myself at your age :). We have started adding serving size in our newer videos.
Thank you
I really appreciate that you would do that.
Hi Hetal and Anuja
This is a super-hit recipe … had it for dinner yesterday … and also made the tortillas at home … just added an egg and little grated tofu in the filling … since i didn’t have mushrooms .. and it tasted heavens … thanks for such a wonderful and quick recipe ..
Hey Anuja and Hetal,
I love your recipes and I have tried that on my own. Very delicious and my family enjoyed it so much. Thank you so much. My sister’s having problem gaining weight and she is really choosy about food so can you give me some ideas about what type of high caloric food should she eat? And we are Gujarati and eat only vegetarian food. Please reply. Thank you so much.
Hi Pooja,
So sorry but we are not qualified to give any kind of medical advice. Our honest and best suggestion is to get in touch with a doctor and that way you are really doing it the right way! There are quite a few types of fats – good and bad and you want to make sure you give her the good ones and avoid the bad. The bad ones will just tigger other health issues. We care for our viewers enough to give the right advice and if we don’t know the answer, we’d rather not say anything.
We wish you all the best always ๐
I tried this and it was wonderful!
Please PLEASE provide the recipe for Veg AuGratin..
Regards..
Hi Shilpi,
We will put that on our list ๐
Thanks for the reply Anuja ๐
Looking forward to the recipe.
Hi Hetal/Anuja,
I am still waiting for the recipe. I’m sure I’ll get the perfect recipe for Veg AuGratin from you guys only. All the recipes that I tried till now were hit in my family.
Waiting waiting…
can i use garlic instead of garlic powder can i make garlic powder at home how to make it
Hi Alka,
Yes, you can substitute fresh garlic for garlic powder ๐
Hi Hetal & Anuja,
I am a busy mom of a 2-year old and a 1-year old naughty boys. So, I am always in search of easy quick fix recipes.
I tried these quesadilla’s for dinner today. They came out so…………… good. My husband was really impressed. Thank you so much.
I have a question. Can I make these a few hours before if I have some friends visiting and then heat them in the oven and serve. Will it work? Please reply.
Thanks & regards
Nannu
Hi Nannu,
Honestly, we have not tried pre-making them. Tortillas are notorious for getting soggy but you may be able to crisp them up with a little extra oil and re-frying them on the skillet.
Hi Hetal & Anuja,
Can I make these in oven?
Thanks & Regards
Nannu
Hey Anuja and Hetal..
I am not sure if I will get tortillas here in India, how can I make tortillas home or is there any substitute to it? Thanks!
Hi Deepika,
We do not have a video for homemade tortillas yet but you may be able to use thin chapatis or rotis.
Hey Anuja and Hetal,
These quesadillas are delicious. Thanks a bunch for the awesome recipes.
Can you please show us a recipe for pita pocket fillings (Veg)? Want to try them as they are an healthy option too.
Thanks & Regards,
Swetha
HI HETAL AND ANUJA
LOVE YOUR WEBSITE!
JUST WANTED TO KNOW ..HOW MANY DOES THE RECIPE YOU PROVIDED SERVE? OR IN OTHER WORDS HOW MANY QUESADILLAS CAN I MAKE WITH THE RECIPE GIVEN?
THANKS
This looks like a fun and easy recipe! Thank you!
I would like to try this recipe for a party appetizer. Would it be okay to make it a few hours ahead of time and then reheat in the microwave or oven when guests arrive?
Hi Anitha,
This is best had hot off the griddle. Heating in the microwave does not work well, but we have not tried to reheat them in the oven. The tortillas tend to become chewy and rubbery if left to cool. Maybe you can try it out on a small batch before serving it for your party.
Hi Hetan & Anuja,
Can I use corn-tortillas instead of flour ones for this recipe. I live alone and I am planning to try both your quesadilla and enchillada. I just dont want to buy a whole lot of tortillas which I wont be able to finish ๐
Hi Aru,
Corn tortillas will taste awesome! You will have to use the whole tortillas on the top and bottom. Flour tortillas can be folded in half but corn ones tend to break.
Hi..
Great recipe. Btw..I am not that great at cooking and have been married for 10 months now, but everytime I refer to your website for new recipes, my dishes come out really great and fantastic. My husband loves them all. Thanks a ton.
I have a doubt in this recipe. Is cheese mandatory? Can I just skip it?
Hi Shvetha,
Cheese really adds a lot to this recipe and it binds everything together inside. However, if you are really opposed to it, I guess you could leave it out…the filling is pretty tasty.
hey thanks a lot.I make this every Friday my husband loves it.Thanks again
thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe.

Hi Anuja and Hetal,
Can u please let me know where to buy flour tortillas?can’t wait to try out the receipe…
Hi Shree,
Where do you live? In the US, we get it at Walmart, Kroger or any grocery store. In India, you can substitute the tortilla with Chapati if you can’t find tortillas. Cheese tastes great with anything! ๐
Thanks Anuja !! I live in US..I can get it from walmart !!
Anuja N Hetal,
