Palak (spinach) is usually not bitter so we’re surprised about that. Are you using fresh spinach or the frozen kind? There is a dish called saag paneer, which uses mustard leaves – this sometimes is a little bitter.

By the way, i have tried, several times to make Pallak Paneer, but have always ended up having the dish taste very bitter…i usually use the same amount of spices/ingredients, but somehow, cannot get the Pallak Paneer to taste decent.Any tips?Thanks Anuja & Hetal, you guys rock!!Love,love, danijela (your #1 fan!!!)
